The American Rancher is a half-hour television series that continues to reach a vast audience through RFD-TV. The American Rancher is produced through a magazine, and regularly an infomercial, type format that features livestock producers, their ranches, livestock and ranching practices along with occasional personalities as primary show guests or program topics. Alongside the primary show guest, the show periodically includes a segment designed for young people called The Young American Rancher.
These stories briefly profile youth and young people from ages 7-25 that are involved with livestock, FFA, 4H, Rodeo or their family operation.
